Welcome to On Beads of Prayer. We are Christians of different denominations, organized through St. Alban's Parish in the Diocese of Washington. Our goal is to help you grow in your personal spiritual journey by experiencing the time-honored joy and mystery of praying with beautiful, blessed, handmade Anglican or Protestant prayerbeads.

Our ministry is intended to introduce you to the use of prayerbeads as an aid to prayer, and to offer a beautiful selection of prayerbeads for sale. Proceeds from these sales will support a variety of outreach programs and ministries.

As you explore this site, you will find a short history of the tradition of prayerbeads, ways to use them, and some suggested prayers. Some people who have begun to use the prayerbeads have also shared their experiences with us. We would be pleased to add yours.

So whether you are just beginning to explore this additional way to pray or wish to purchase prayerbeads for yourself or others, remember that, while they do not possess magical qualities, what happens to your relationship with God may be miraculous.
